Valipat. When do we intervene?

Validation is the process of filing translations of the European Patent after its grant in the individual EPC countries in which patent rights are desired (with the exception of the countries that are signatories to the London Protocol).

You can contact Valipat:

• either when you know the Intent to Grant date (communication under rule 71(3) EPC) and the publication of the Druckexemplar, in that case we can even translate the claims to be filed, within four months, with the EPO
• or when the Grant Date is known (article 97(1) EPC) and the B1 is published, in that case we offer you to proceed with validation and or representation, within three months, in all the designated countries.
