Welcome to the VALIPAT European patent validation web interface.

The European patent validation web interface of VALIPAT enables any patent professional to order professional, high quality translations of European patents and to have them validated in each European country where this is required. Representation in those countries where validation is no longer required, may also be requested.

The VALIPAT interface gives clients a guaranteed and final quote in the currency of their choice. No additions, no fine print, and no surprises.

In order to use this interface, you should as a first step agree with the final text of the patent as suggested by the EPO in its intent to grant communication R71(3)EPC (also known as DRUCKEXEMPLAR).

If you would like VALIPAT to prepare the translations of the claims to be filed at the EPO, please enter your instructions as soon as possible, and preferably at least 29 days before the EPO due date for the filing of the translations.

If you do not want VALIPAT to prepare the translations of the claims for the EPO, please send us your validation instructions as soon as possible, and at least 29 days before the validation due date.
